Affiliate Program Terms

1. The program

The AutoTeamBuilder Affiliate Program is run by Sheridan Media, Inc. It pays you for referring new members to AutoTeamBuilder. It is separate from AutoTeamBuilder's team-building tools; you do not need to use them, and you are never paid for anyone joining, buying from or activating in any other company's program.

2. What you earn

$1.00 for each qualified signup you refer, and $0.10 for each qualified signup referred by an affiliate you personally recruited. Earnings stop at two levels. A qualified signup is a new person who creates an AutoTeamBuilder account through your link, confirms their email, and becomes an active member within 14 days. A member becomes active by actually using their account. We decide which account activity counts as active and may change it; changes apply to signups made after they're posted. Rates may change; changes apply to signups after the change is posted.

3. What isn't paid

Signups by you or your household, duplicates, automated or fake signups, signups bought from incentive or "get paid to sign up" sites, and any signup our fraud checks reject. We may reverse any earning that broke these terms, even after it has been paid. We can take a reversed amount out of your future earnings, or ask you to pay it back.

4. Lead limits

We may set a daily or monthly limit on the number of signups paid to your account, which is usually lower for new affiliates. Signups over the limit are not paid. We may raise, lower or remove your limit at any time based on the quality of your signups.

5. Payment

Earnings are held for 30 days, then become available. We pay monthly by PayPal or gift card once your available balance is at least $10.00. You must give us accurate payment details, and a W-9 or W-8BEN tax form when we ask for it. We may withhold tax where the law requires.

6. How you may promote

You must clearly tell people you may be paid if they sign up (for example, "I earn a commission if you join through my link"). You may not make income or earnings claims, send spam or unsolicited messages, post fake reviews or testimonials, bid on AutoTeamBuilder's name in ads, or use other companies' trademarks in a misleading way.

7. Fraud reviews, suspension and withheld earnings

We check signups and affiliate accounts for fraud and for breaks of these terms. While we review your account, we may suspend it and hold all of your earnings — pending, available and unpaid — for as long as the review takes. During a suspension your links don't earn.

If we decide, in our sole discretion and in good faith, that your account was involved in fraud or a serious or repeated break of these terms, we may close the account and keep all of its unpaid earnings, including earnings from signups that were not themselves fraudulent, and reverse earnings already paid. Fraud includes, for example: signing up yourself, your household or people you control; using bots, scripts, proxies, VPNs or other tricks to create or fake signups or clicks; paying or rewarding people to sign up; using more than one affiliate account; giving false identity, payment or tax details; and spam or misleading promotion.

You agree to answer our questions and give us the information we reasonably ask for during a review. If you don't reply within 14 days, we may decide the review without your answer.

8. Ending

You can leave any time. Signups that come after you leave aren't paid; earnings from before you leave are paid under section 5 unless section 7 applies. We may suspend or close any affiliate account, or change or end the program, at any time. If we close your account or end the program for a reason other than a break of these terms, we pay the earnings you already qualified for under section 5.

9. Our records

Our tracking and fraud-check records decide which clicks, signups and earnings count. Ad blockers, cleared cookies, other browsers or devices, and framed pages can stop a signup from being tracked; untracked signups aren't paid.

10. You're independent

You promote as an independent contractor, not as our employee, agent or partner. You may not make promises or statements on our behalf, and you are responsible for your own taxes and for following the laws that apply to your promotion.

11. Limits on our liability

The program is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the earnings you qualified for under these terms and that we haven't paid.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply from the date they're posted on this page; continuing to promote after that means you accept them.

13. Eligibility and law

You must be 18 or older and not located in a country under US sanctions. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA.
